COVID-19 Policy

Your providers and staff at Advanced Dermatology, PC are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19. We are following the advice of both the CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health; we encourage you to use these sites for information. We want to assure you of the steps we are taking to protect your family when in our office, and of how we currently plan to address patients possibly exposed to the novel coronavirus.

WE ASK THAT ALL PERSONS ENTERING OUR OFFICE WEAR A MASK (EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN VACCINATED!). WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE MASKS OR GLOVES.

Patients with possible Coronavirus exposure:

If you have recently traveled to areas where there are ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 and develop a fever with cough, shortness of breath, or gastrointestinal issues within 14 days of your travel, or if you have had contact with someone who is suspected to have COVID-19, please stay home and call 770-739-7546 to reschedule your appointment to TELEMEDICINE. This number is available Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we are continuing to update our policies and procedures to ensure your health and wellness are our priority.

Please note:

  • We are NOT offering any COVID-19 testing or screening - we do not offer swab testing or antibodies testing.
  • When the clinic is open for appointments, we aim to minimize the number of people in the clinic at any given time. If you are scheduled for an appointment, please arrive on time and do not bring any guests unless you need assistance. If you need assistance, please try to limit it to 1 person if possible.

Please remember that YOU are responsible for ensuring that our office has the following information up to date:

  • Insurance coverage - PLEASE PRESENT YOUR CARD AT EVERY VISIT
  • Mailing/billing address
  • Phone number
  • Preferred pharmacy
  • Any changes in medications, allergies, surgeries, or other medical history updates

Our goal is to keep all our patients safe. If the spread of coronavirus in the state worsens, we will update our policies and procedures and keep you informed.
